How to Read Rydex Timing Selection Table
1. Investment category columns are sorted by degree of investment risk starting on the left with "cash" moving to the right ending with "Strategy x2 Index Funds". This alignment corresponds with investment risk moving from less risk to more risk. Risk is defined as price volatility. See discussion under Investment Risk Profile
2. The Rydex Funds have been entered under the investment categories; in the case of Rydex Index Funds according to growth, value, and leverage; and in the case of Rydex Sector funds according to cyclicality, degree of risk, or asset class.
3. Below each investment category column, subscribers will see the color coded status of the Rydex Funds in that category. The fund names are color coded as Green(buy), Yellow(hold), or Red(avoid) meaning these are the categories from which a subscriber could find at least one Rydex Fund to buy, or at least one to continue to hold, or a category that has no Rydex Fund to either buy or hold on that day according to strategy rules.
4. The bottom section of the table displays our current selections for each investor risk profile. Our choices are color coded in green by name if in buy status. If the fund is on hold status it will be highlighted in yellow by name. If an exit is called for that day, the fund will be highlighted in red by name.
5. If we are exchanging one of the choices it will be shown with the choice we are exchanging into on the day we are making the exchange.
6. These are the allocations we are currently making and are provided only as information to subscribers as they make their own decisions.
